How It Works
Belt tension is calculated from vibration frequency: T = 4 x mu x L² x f², where mu is linear mass density (kg/m), L is free length (m), and f is frequency (Hz). GT2 6mm belt is ~4.4 g/m. Target 3-6N for most printers. Use a phone app to measure frequency by plucking the belt.
