How It Works

Infill strength does not scale linearly with percentage. Going from 20% to 40% infill does not double strength; you get diminishing returns above ~50%. For most functional parts, 15-25% infill is optimal. Gyroid and cubic infill patterns offer better strength-to-weight ratios than grid or lines.
