How It Works
Every hotend has a maximum volumetric flow rate (mm³/s) — how fast it can melt plastic. Max speed = max_flow / (layer_height x line_width). A stock Ender 3 hotend maxes out around 11-15 mm³/s. All-metal hotends reach 20-25 mm³/s. High-flow hotends (CHC, Rapido) can do 40-80+ mm³/s.
